Sensory Networks is a leading provider of high performance network security technology. We are seeking talented developers (new grads welcome) to help build new high-performance software security engines. The position will involve researching, developing and testing complex systems built in C, C++ and assembly.

Essential characteristics:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Honours or higher degree a plus)
- Programming ability in C/C++ in a Linux environment
- Understanding of basic algorithms and computer architecture
- Self-motivated and willing to experiment
- Enjoys working in a team
- Australian resident

Experience in the following areas is helpful, but not essential:
- x86 assembly language
- Programming with Intel vector instructions(e.g. MMX, SSE)
- Parallel algorithms and architecture
- Regular expressions and automata theory
- Compilers and optimization
- Performance analysis

This is a challenging position, with plenty of scope to learn new skills and solve new problems.
